…And it’s been a record year for CAP UK this year with nearly 15,000 children in the South West attending one of our school workshops or assemblies. Huge thanks to our school partners and funders including the Big Lottery Fund without whom this wouldn’t have been possible.

It’s not just a numbers game though, we’ve been reviewing feedback from our work this year to check up on the quality of our work and the difference it makes. It’s in the comments we get from children, parents and teachers that we find more inspiration and get confirmation that our programmes are working. Combine that insight with the scale of our work and you get the full picture.

Here’s what one teacher wrote of the children’s workshop we ran with her class,

“This was brilliant, a good mix of questions, role play and discussion. Thank you – this is SO important
with so many crucial messages for our children. You make SUCH a difference to them and their lives”
